A Note from CJ
My homemade Honey Mustard goes with everything!

My deep love for Honey Mustard started as a kid, when I realized how it literally made everything taste better (not just chicken tenders and fries!) Once I started making Honey Mustard sauce at home, I was blown away by how simple it is!
I love using it as a dipping sauce for Fried Chicken, Air Fryer Fried Chicken, Air Fryer Chicken Wings, Air Fryer Chicken Tenders, or Air Fryer Chicken Thighs! It’s also great with roasted vegetables like Honey Roasted Carrots, Roasted Cauliflower, and Roasted Brussels Sprouts (Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts),
Ingredient Tips
Refer to the recipe card for the full list of ingredients and measurements!
- full fat mayonnaise – I recommend using full fat mayo for the richness and creaminess, which will balance out the tang of the vinegar.
- honey – if you like a sweeter Honey Mustard, add more honey.
- Dijon mustard – add more dijon mustard if you like spicy honey mustard.
- distilled white vinegar – you can also use apple cider vinegar.
- black pepper – I always recommend using freshly ground black pepper – pre-ground black pepper loses a lot of it’s flavor and pepperiness due to time in storage and oxidation.

My Pro Tip
CJ’s Storage Tips
You can store homemade Honey Mustard it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Do NOT leave it out at room temperature. Make sure your container is well sealed to prevent spoilage and avoid dipping directly into the jar. Only use clean utensils – any bacteria from food or used utensils will make your Honey Mustard go bad faster.
